About Us

Sirad Balducci is a Montauk and New York City-based photographer, video artist, and filmmaker whose work captures meditative, introspective moments in nature. Influenced by Bill Viola and grounded in themes of family and serenity, her photography and video art create dreamlike, otherworldly visions that resonate on a deeply emotional level.

Her recent film The Passing, which premiered at Guild Hall in East Hampton, uses Super 8mm footage from her cousin’s family archives in 1960s and 70s Amagansett, NY, to explore how souls transcend time and memory, celebrating the enduring connections between past and present.

Balducci’s award-winning short Generation Lockdown examines the psychological effects of the gun epidemic on children, while her project The Rainbow Roll for the End of AIDS documented a cross-country skating event advocating for AIDS awareness, inspiring Dream Roll, a visually expansive feature film currently in development.

A mother of two, Balducci draws inspiration from her family and East Coast roots, bringing a personal perspective to her art. Her work continues to captivate and challenge, establishing her as a powerful voice in socially engaged photography and video.
